The nearest book to me (prophetically) turned out to be the very old, very beat-up KJV Bible that apparently has been on the floor next to my bed. The first sentence on page 45 is this:

And the fish that was in the river died; and the river stank, and teh E-gyp’-tians could not drink of the water of the river; and there was blood throughout all the land of E’-gypt.
(that’s from Exodus 7:21)

So, uhh, yeah. My sex life is looking up.

I even considered calling the police or someone, but I couldn’t bring myself to tell anyone my partner was off chasing little people and dragons!…I really don’t know how to react to that O.o
